As if I didn’t learn my lesson the last time, I bought yet another item online. This pretty little thing is my new sport, hobby, or whatever else you want to call it. All I know is I hope to someday (this year maybe?) be able to jump off a flight of stairs with it.
Finding these Kit Alphas wasn’t easy at all.
I scoured through all the major sports houses in Metro Manila (even at that Persian dude’s sporting goods store in Greenhills), but couldn’t find the brand I was looking for. The high end bikeshops in Cartimar? They didn’t have any. They told me they used to sell it about 5 or 6 years ago. Even R.O.X. didn’t sell any.
I was just fortunate enough to find this sparingly used pair online. The guy who sold it to me bought it in Singapore, and was selling it because his wife coerced him into getting one even though he wasn’t into it at all.
If you see some 6 foot tall dude trying to keep his balance in UP or The Fort, then it’ll probably me. But seriously, where can anyone find a decent pair of Rollerblades in the Philippines?

Recently, Instant Kupy was featured @ Technogra.ph - a young and an upcoming blog site about the local tech scene. (You can view the feature here). Mr. Rico Mossesgeld, a very well-known personality in the blogging world, is the owner of Technogra.ph. This blog of his covers the Philippine tech scene, featuring commentary, news, reviews, event coverage, and other related developments. Yeah, that line I just said was directly copied from Technogra.ph’s About page. Sorry dude, I’m not creative enough to give you a mouth-watering intro. Hopefully this one does the job.

Wag mapikon sa banner haha patawa lang yan kk? GO DIABLOS!
Well, yeah, we lost again to the Green Vipers..pero mas masakit dahil it’s for the championship. It was almost a carbon copy of our 1st game with them, we controlled (sort of) the the 2nd and 3rd quarters of the game. Then sa 4th quarter, ayun, we choked again LOL. This time, we were just flat out terrible at the free throw line. We could have won the game if we made at least 50% of our free throws.
It was my first time to be in a championship game. Ganun pala ang feeling pag natalo on a big stage. Aray e haha. On the bright side, it motivates me to improve my overall game so I can help the team more next time we compete again. Then again, it’s easier said than done.
