We’ve been told that parents will always love their children no matter what. But perhaps what very few realize is that the same could be said for kids, too. No matter how much a parent screws up, somehow our little adoring hearts still end up loving them. There are very few reasons (I think) a parent can commit that will make a daughter, as son, walk away and never look back. And even then, you still can’t stop yourself from help hurting.
We simply cannot help ourselves.
